Silent Woods

 L'abcdaire a été calligraphié en "caroline" avec un calame et de l'encre Ecoline (pour ne pas citer la marque !) et le texte en script avec une plume "index". Une traduction approximative donnerait quelque chose comme "la forêt serait bien silencieuse si aucun oiseau ne chantait, à part le meilleur."

The alphabet ("Caroline" letters) was calligraphied with a reed pen and water-based ink ; the text was written with an index (as in finger) nib. No need to translate for those that read the English bit of my blog !
